Awhile back on a whim, Chris asked Andy Quady of Quady Winery if he was interested in doing an in-store tasting sometime. Since he lives in Cali, we figured it would be a long shot. Fortunately Andy was way into the idea, and since he comes out every year for the NYC Chocolate Show to sample his dessert wines we've made a tradition of having him at Slopey that same week. He'll be pouring his fabulous sweet and dry vermouths for the Slopey customers.

Slope Cellars is proud to have this small production vigneron from the actual region of Champagne in for a special tasting of his Extra Brut "Cuvee Maison". Not to be missed.

Nahmias is a producer in Westchester that produces a distillate called Mahia. Originally hailing from the Jewish community in Morocco, Mahia can be made from grapes, dates or figs. This one is made from the latter along with a touch of anis seed. More like a brandy than a liqueur, we encourage you to come by and taste this unique spirit.

One of our favorite independent bottlers will grace Slopey with some fine malts in a wide range of prices. Ambassodor Chris Riesbeck will show you why we're fans. He'll be pouring:
